Ask HN: Bootstrapping side projects through consulancies when working part time?
I'm working fulltime at a job and planning to test out a few ideas that I've for side projects/startups. Since I cannot dedicate full time to it, I'm thinking of offloading some of the work (say frontend/mobile dev) to a consultancy while I work on areas that I'm familiar with (backend). In time, I plan to keep a close watch on how they build their part and learn from it. Has anyone done this before? I'll be spending around $1k to $2k on this and a ~10 hours of my time every week. 0 comments on Hacker News.
