Ask HN: What are less-known best practices for email deliverability?
Hi all! What are the best practices for email deliverability that you do that have helped you with open rates and making sure your subscribers engage? I am specifically asking for something that is outside the usual recommendations. We are currently doing the following: 1) Excluding unengaged subscribers who have not opened an email from us in the last XXX days 2) Double opt-in on certain forms to prevent list-bombing 3) Monitoring Google Postmaster Tools for spam rate, IP reputation, domain reputation, etc. 4) SPF, DKIM, DMARC, etc. are implemented 5) Two dedicated IP addresses are used for sending the email 6) Deleting/cleaning 'invalid' email addresses (not hard bounces). ### Is there something we are missing? Thanks so much! 1 comments on Hacker News.
