Is Stephen Wolfram a Narcissist?
I have read many reports of people saying that Steohen Wolfram is a narcissist and full of himself. But these are usually from many years ago (when he published A New Kind Of Science) and from people that have had almost no direct contact with him. However, I have seen also other people who have interacted with him directly (in summer schools, in Wolfram research, in discussions...) say that he is actually more down to earth and doesn't have a problem recognising when he has no knowledge about something... Besides, he has collaborated with a large team in developing his Physics Project and I can see that within their team, the members can express different opinions, even some that are contradictory to some of his claims. This makes me think that if he was really a narcissist, anyone with a different opinion than his would be expelled from the team or his "community". But these are only speculations.
